about the curly baker
I started The Curly Baker as a San Jose based Cottage Food Operation in September 2013. That means I bake delicious treats in my own home kitchen and share them with the local community. Baking has always been a passion for as long as I can remember. Even as a child I wanted to bake everyone's birthday cakes, and more recently my husband's office has been enjoying Monday morning sweets just because. So I thought to myself, why not spread the smiles and love to even more people? I couldn't be happier with the opportunity to share my love of baking with as many people as possible.
Even though I have a BS in Athletic Training and an MS in Applied Nutrition I still believe that the occasional sweet treat is good for the soul. My focus is on providing baked goods made from scratch and made with care. The ingredients are simple and recognizable, and you know exactly what you're getting. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, graduation, anniversary, or your favorite day of the week every occasion deserves a special homemade treat.
